Hot take: the #NERevs’ problem isn’t attack or defense. It’s midfield. They seem to be constantly giving up posession by booting it long or getting trapped out on the wing rather than playing through the midfield. Less possession means fewer chances for you and more for the opposition.

I think the real thing to blame for this being an early-round matchup is the seeding for the World Cup draw. Morocco absolutely deserved to be a pot 1 team. Although, to be fair, it’s hard to say who in pot 1 they would’ve replaced.
