"This game is a solo RPG about the protagonist dying at the end of their story. This Solo-RPG includes complicated themes of death, loss, grief, and stories left unfinished." Last Words Are Never Enough was featured as part of the award-winning Small Gods Scatter from @uepodca.st

Fortune Favors Dice! Also I'm working on the cover and layout for In The End, a solo journaling duology with a game by me and one by my spouse.

I forgot to share the character art for Wilmot Purcell!

A woman looks over her shoulder as she pulls off her leather jacket. She wears dark combat boots, pants, and a white tank top. Her gray and white hair is pulled back, with an undercut.

This is the lil guy I played for the playtest - Lokan Steorra, a cosmos absorbed council mage. Don't let the cute gaze fool you. Anyway, Ivory Tower is really fun.

Huge eyes wrapped up in a cosmic blanket, standing in a court hall.

From page 8 of Fortune Favors Dice, "3 players is ideal." Characters in Fortune Favors Dice have 3 types of actions, so if there are 3 players, each of them can shine at a different action. The actions are broad enough that even mechanically identical characters can be vastly different, however!

Fortune Favors the Beat is campy and perfect for fans of Scooby Doo, combining mystery and themes of community. 🎸

A band plays on an illuminated stage. A costumed figure plays the drums, stage lights revealing a suit under the ghostly disguise. The screen reads Fortune Favors the Beat

Fortune Favors Fangs: This playset combines two of my favorite things: sexy vampires and inter-party tension. Vampires have Secrets, and those Secrets can be used against each other. 🩸

A human with long hair tilts their neck up so that their partner, a smaller vampire with short hair, can lean in to bite. The two are standing in a brick tunnel and are illuminated by the red neon club sign and blue door lights of a club, Fortune Favors Fangs

Fortune Favors the Deep is a creeping dread horror playset, and I scared myself browsing through reference photos of ocean scapes and whale falls 🦑

The DJ at the baseball game has a sense of humor - everyone is sheltering up under the awnings and the first three songs played were: Come Clean - Hilary Duff Unwritten - Natasha Bedingfield Rain on Me - Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga

Along with posters, bags, and quick reference guides, you can find my favorite add-on -- a tearaway pad of 50 character sheets, front and back!

A 4"x4" tearaway pad of 50 character sheets. One side of a sheet contains the title of the game Fortune Favors Dice; a line to write a name and track Mercies; lines for the actions Push, Hold, and Shift (along with space to specify the playset action); die sizes to circle for each action. The other side of the sheet contains space to take notes, draw a portrait, and a line to specify which Fortune Favors Dice playset you're playing.

Shout out to @sidequestbooks.bsky.social for recommending Morning Walk by Kay Marlow Allen - my kid and I played it yesterday, and this morning, the first words out her mouth were "can we play Morning Walk again, Mom?" 🥹

A storyteller friend of mine shared this and I find it fascinating and relevant to us in the AP space, so I wanna get y'all's thoughts. AD friends feel free to chime in too

With attention spans shortening, are we anticipating a change to the western comedic three? I've been experimenting with doing events in twos with some stories to trim them down or making the third only a throw away, and...it seems to be landing.
What are y'all seeing?
