Took the decision today to remove Kingdom of Hope from the upcoming Steam Fest this October so that we can enter the February 2027 Steam Fest and launch straight into Early Access. I will make some final tweaks to the demo this week and then its full focus on getting the game ready for Early Access.

I'm constantly obsessing with how the trees look in the game. It's why you'll see various screenshots showing a different birch tree or maple tree each time. Being colorblind sucks when it comes to matching intricate details, but I think we are getting there with help from friends and family.

Halo is one of the strangest games I've ever played. It throws you into this serious, military-style sci-fi world, then has you fighting these goofy little aliens that look and sound ridiculous. It's such an odd combination.

One of my favourite moments in Stardew is waking up to rain. The whole day feels slower, softer, and more intentional. In Kingdom of Hope, that atmosphere will be there too, but rain will bring more than mood. Overnight surprises, cold/wet conditions might make you rethink your plans for the day.
