Day 9 - Proof #umitober #umitober2026 Repost (2022)

A comic of umineko no naku koro ni characters in the style of Onion comic artist Stan Kelly. A cartoonishly ugly Natsuhi, sweating and holding a knife behind her back while surrounded by a half-disappeared Kinzo and a crying Battler, is confronted by an attractive adult Erika reading a pile of books. Lambdadelta and Bernkastel look on approvingly from the clouds, and the Lady Liberty from Kelly's comics appears celebrating with a foam #1 finger.
Natsuhi: Those diaries I wrote are lies! I "LOVE" my husband!
Erika: Uh-huh. Mind repeating that in RED?*
Editor's note: *The actual truth.
Erika appears as the cartoonist in the foreground, saying "WHINE-dunnit."
Text is scattered throughout the pic, labeling things. Natsuhi: HYSTERICAL, DESPERATE CULPRIT; Kinzo: DISAPPEARING, MADE-UP NOBODIES; Battler: EMOTIONAL LOSERS; Erika's book: SMOKING GUN; Pile of books: EVIDENCE CONFESSIONS TRUTH; The witches' cloud: AMUSED WITCHES.

Mesmalie A fantastic little indie adventure game about learning magick from a witch. Ahe,,,anyways I don't wanna spoil it honestly but I love its art, music, and really fun but gripping narrative. Especially the ending, it's fantastic all around and should be experience. It's really cheap too :D

Young Frankenstein Forgot to put this here but it was a funny movie that just goes balls to the wall with it. Really funny, they just start saying shit like it's true and it happens to be and I love that.

They usually give me stuff on the first and then I get too nervous to make a second one. My one time doing a draft 2 was basically a whole rework. It's more of a structural thing I'm worried about with editing and rewriting since I don't know how that stuff works (Like proper grammar and flow)

I hate editing my work into a second draft, not because I think it's great. It's because I'm afraid I'll mangle it into a worse mess since I'm a total newbie at writing still, it's only been 2 years....

Sent my friend my current WIP for the game jam (She's the composer) and she simply sent this. We're so back, I should relax and work a bit on comms tomorrow though...I did 17 pages in 2 days

Tera | O' Ter @o-ter.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Just realised the two characters for my current game jam project are from an old yaoi thing I was doing but now it's yuri. Turn that yaoi into yuri. Turn that yaoi into yuri! Turn that yaoi into yuri!!

Tsukihime (2021) A fantastic time, while I prefer the old art the presentation, prose, and new art is all fantastic. Sure it's not all 5 routes but they greatly expanded what was in Arceuid's and ESPECIALLY in Ciel's route. Basically was a new story there, it's fucking crazy.

Homestuck I genuinely have no idea where to begin. I will say, this is a good comic over all. I did enjoy my time reading it, however oh my god Act 6 was too long and dropped the ball hard. So much buildup that couldn't support itself and the ebb n flow until the end was insane, don't get me starte-

Xenoblade 3 opens a dialogue with Xenogears so beautifully with an important question. What if Fei Fong Wong was wasian?

Tera | O' Ter @o-ter.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Insane how Xenoblade 2's story is way more compelling in the latter parts than the first. Like what the fuck happened? I maybe woulda stuck through it and played the game if it was all so strong

Mary's Suicide A very short VN about the recollection of the death of two girls. It's a very emotional and raw work, I felt seen in how Aki and Ami talked before their death. The creator too ended up in the same fate, I hope they know their work is still appreciated. It's simply beautiful in 15 min
