The 113 is expected to run every 20 minutes during school peak periods (7:40 am-8:40 am and 3 pm-4:40 pm), and every 40 minutes during off-peak periods and connects with the Hobsonville Point Ferry services.

This new bus will use smaller 13-seat buses until further roading capacity upgrades are completed. Once the road upgrades are complete the 113 will be re routed and replace the 112.

Over three hours, volunteers removed large amounts of pampas, gorse, moth plant, woolly nightshade, and other pest plants. Treescape also carried out weed spraying to support the ongoing tidy-up of the area.

#FerryNews: Bluebridge has shared video on the progress of the Pōhutukawa Lounge and Kōwhai Kai and Recliners onboard Livia. The project is 68% complete, with structural works complete and fit-out underway, next works are lighting, joinery, furnishings. The spaces are on track to open 1 December.

#BusNews: Stage 1 adjustments have started on Great South Road in Takaanini, reconfiguring road space to create two continuous traffic lanes in each direction. Part of Stage 1 inlcudes removing two low‑use bus stops near Beach Road to help improve bus timetables and efficiency.

#StationNews: New signage has been installed at Karanga-a-Hape station to help guide customers between the platforms for trips requiring a transfer between lines. New boarding zone signs have also been installed on the roof for clearer visibility for passengers.

#TramNews: Christchurch Tramway has now moved into their summer season operating hours. Summer hours will see tramcars on the tracks from 8:30 am until 6:30 pm daily, with the last tram departing from Stop 1 at 5:50 pm every day.

#BusNews: From October 1, NZTA has introduced new rules that require road users to give way to buses leaving bus stops. On roads with a 60km/h or lower speed limit, if bus drivers are leaving a bus stop, the side of the road or moving out of a bus lane, other drivers must give way to the bus.

#RailNews: Google Maps has once again updated the Public Transport Layer in Auckland to correctly show the newly opened City Rail Link and new line layouts. This update has added the Onehunga West Line and corrected the East West Line. The South City line is still incorrect.
