The shader nodes setup was somewhat involved, it took me some time to translate @bottosson.bsky.social's source code

i also rendered this animation of the same simulation with the camera following a trajectory of the system. This really showcases how the group of initial states gets deformed as it progresses through time

It's a little contrived at this point, but it never ceases to be pretty. I did this sim of the Lorenz system to test #b3d #simulation #nodes. (this was done a decent while ago, i never got around to post it).

🦤

Digital painting of a dodo girl. Like a centaur, her torso and head are human, standing in place of the neck and head of the bird. We look at her back, and she's turning her head to look at us. Upon her head, the beak structure of the animal protrude like a cap, empty eyed, encased on a tuft of (her) hair and feathers as big as a her torso. The bottom part of the beak is situated on her chest.

Another one of these :), the feathers were a lot of work

A digital painting of a ring ouzel as seen from its right. The bird has its left foot higher than the right, and is holding its wings bellow its tail

The Grand Conservatrice of the Old Balanophore. Leader of her squirrel commune, some says she's as old as the oak her people inhabit. A master in keeping food from decaying, could it be that she became as good at preserving her body? A squirrel inspired by mtg Bloomburrow. #bloomburrow #mtg

A regal red squirrel with a slightly anthropomorphized body, holding a big red radish in her arms, looking harshly at the viewer. Black circles, over and under her eyes, make it looks like she bare 6 of them. She stands on two legs, clad on a brown turtlenecked justaucorps upon which golden lines sketch a rib cage. Over her shoulders, golden pauldrons like the veins of a dead physalis cage. From them run a burgundy cape made of a single autumn leaf with holes and coppery edges. An oak leaf as a loincloth covers her legs.

I've been obsessed with the chromaticity diagram lately, so i recreated it in #b3d. I'd like to render the planckian locus next
