I did not make it to the next stage. California teams bested OR and Penn State. UCLA beat OR, and USC beat Penn State. MS stomped all over Vanderbilt 52-17.

🏈 report. Brockport is off this week. My two besties each won squeakers. Indiana over Nebraska 20-17 and Illinois over Michigan State 38-37. Not a fan of Michigan State. Applied for a faculty position there and they ambushed me with a surprise phone interview at 9PM on a Friday night.

tall to be a spy or get the guy she suffers angst while catching other spies. She ends up collaborating with cartographer Paul Child. She has a bad case of body dysmorphic disorder and he is the world’s slowest Lothario. By the end of the book, we’ve won the war and Julia has won the man.

Book Review: The Secret War of Julia Child by Diana R Chambers. Historical romance? Rom com? Paul and Julia have a cute meet in Asia against the backdrop of a world at war. Julia works for Wild Bill Donovan (IYKYK) head of OSS that morphs into the CIA. She follows him to India and then China. Too

I was in grad school at Univ of Oregon 80-81. They furloughed half the psych faculty (take a sabbatical for a year doing something where they’ll pay you so we don’t have to). Lumber is their main industry. Housing starts were way down. I transferred to Indiana

Watching Outlander Season 4 episode 2. Jamie and Claire have saved slave Rufus from execution. Reminds me of Christa Pike. Execution fails. She is in medical care like Rufus. I suffered ongoing calculus humiliation. The villain Penn State lost to Northwestern. I love this for both of them. I truly want NW to be a contender this year, to be better than expected bc last week IU only beat them be a tad. And of course IU beat Rutgers 47-15. Oh and in another sport

Those look yum! My Alma mater just got a whooping from my grad schools rival. Purdue beat Illinois. But Indiana (grad program) remains undefeated since 24. 🤩. But my white Sox are mowing through post season games.

What’s trippy about Cornell is that it is both an Ivy League school (meaning private) and part SUNY (State University of New York). The premier parts are SUNY (ag school, vet school, human ecology, industrial and labor relations).

This Sox team is a miracle based upon how they’ve been recently. I think it’s the pope! Enjoy the excitement. I am exiled in Yankee land. I begrudge the Cubs for being America’s team-when cable was new and WGN was part of it and the Sox were on channel 32. UHF.
