I googled the name she send me and a reddit thread popped up, and apparently it's called the "muse scam" they say they'll compensate you but further down the line they'll ask you for money for materials, then once it's "finished" they'll send you a bad check that's sure to bounce

that's how my upbringing was, but in my case technology helped me instead of hurting me. my mom had hooked on phonics for me when I was about 3-4. my mom always stressed the importance of reading books and she definitely set me up for success. the kids now don't even wanna do anything and it's sad 😔

as someone who works with kids, when they ask me things they should've known in previous grades I do my best to help them. a lot of my kids have a hard time with spelling, which makes me question are they even teaching kids to sound it out anymore? my 5th and 6th graders aren't prepared at all
