A couple of quick colour illustrations (okay… sketches really) to get back into things after months of working almost exclusively in 3D. 🥹

Borrowing elements from European fairytales, myths, and legends, "The Keepers" follows the stories of six protagonists as they find themselves entangled - sometimes by chance, sometimes by birthright - in a world of legendary creatures, mythical items, and a touch of magic.

A little something to warm your heart on a cold Winter’s day… A small test comic to see where I want to take the illustrations for a larger graphic novel project. 🩵 Happy New Year 2024!

I have nothing to show right now, but I do want to do some stuff for Inktober… if that is still a thing.

It’s the best. Line art just… ngh. Instant gratification.

So I’m finally saying ‘fuck it’ and do what I always wanted to do. Sure, I was happy with what I was doing - what was expected of me: the (high end) realism stuff and all. But my heart was always in line art with limited, translucent colour, if any. I’ll see how that turns out. So far, so good.

LOL! And yay! - But no, I really do feel that because I was stuck in 3D land for a hot second or two, and going back to drawing after that was like ‘how do you lineart?!’ 🥲

Aided by an unlikely ally, CPRS race against time to save two of their own and with them the fate of the world. CPRS finds themselves reunited with Skylar Delphi, who shows up with news that none of them want to hear: A Horseman of the Apocalypse has come to Earth uninvited...

Kicking this off with two quick portraits of 'Red, White & Royal Blue' actors Nicholas Galitzine and Taylor Zakhar Perez - because just doing one of them would have been unfair. #art
