It has been criminally underreported but Kelsey Pfendler has just rowed solo across the Pacific Ocean from the US coast to Hawaii in record time. A 2,400-mile unsupported journey in 43 days, 17 hours, and 55 minutes. Notably beating the Men’s record by 9 whole days.

Me too. Most of my trade requests with others have been denied or timed out though. Not sure what the "rules" are, but if someone has something in their bio I either follow it or try with someone else.

Screenshot from X, post from ARMY translator @ryuminating translating Tae's weverse moment:
"🐻 We feel really grateful for your welcoming hearts, but we'd like you to refrain from coming to the hotel if possible. We don't really want to share where we're staying and it affects our condition for the concert and so we make this request of you. And as we go on our tour, it's really important to us to be able to try out delicious restaurants, walk along streets, and comfortably enjoy those countries. I hope there won't be any more times when you come to our hotels. We ask for your understanding!"

The Supreme Court STRIKES DOWN Trump's anti-birthright executive order. I was honored that Sotomayor cited 5 of my articles in her dissent in Slaughter yesterday. It's a sweeter honor today as Jackson cited my historical work supporting birthright, p. 12 & 13, forthcoming in UC L.J.

I used to be a big concert goer back in the day, but lackluster performances and overall experience degraded to the point that I had been to like 2 concerts in 20 years. This video was the one that sparked a fire in me to see BTS live and give other concerts a try again.

I wish BigHit would release some iconic moments that were on earlier DVD releases on BangtanTV. #1 for me would be the Cypher Medley released on the Memories 2017 DVD.

This is just unacceptable. (Cr: x.com/abfic1/statu...)

(long tweet warning)
I mean the following sincerely. One of the significant advantages to owning your own business is that you can run that business how you wish.
If the new owners of @lastfm do not want ARMY to use their service, that is their perogative.
If the new owners are happy to lose the revenue from Pro subscriptions and to lose ad revenue due to the lower amount they will be able to charge for ads due to lower engagement numbers, that is their decision and their right.
I wish them well and I mean that sincerely.

Now. Here is why I say the new owners of Last do not want ARMY to use their service.
Yesterday, I noticed that my streams weren't syncing with Last. I assumed it was some kind of tech issue on my end. Checking twitter showed that others were having the same issue. Then someone (I forget who or I would credit) found the tweet and reply below.
That made it clear it was not random. I decided to test to see what was happening since I am not a bot and my coding days are long past and I could not write a script if I had to do so.
I pulled up the Last website and watched in real time as my scrobbles were deleted. It would show a BTS track that I was sitting there playing as being scrobbled. As soon as the next track started, the prior scrobble was deleted.
Last was treating me, an actual human being who was actually listening to the music, as a bot.

I then checked to see who owns Last because there is at least arguably shareholder action for purposefully alienating a major portion of user base to say nothing of making a change that resulted in data being inaccurate.
It turns out that Last was sold on May 27, 2026. It further turns out that Last was sold to a group of Last staffers. See below. I have not been able to see purchase price or any information as to how it was financed, though sales price may be in Paramount/ Skydance's next set of quarterlies. For some further context, CBS bought Last in 2004 for $280 million USD and it was a cash purchase.
Which brings us back to where I started. If the new owners want to cut off their nose to spite their face, that is 100% their right to do so. I wish them well.
I also will not use a service that does not want me there. That is my right.
I will be interested to see how this turns out. /fin

I gave out keychains and bracelets as freebies in Vegas, but I think I might do some kind of care package for Arlington. The heat will be similar and I saw several people pass out from the heat. Maybe a fan and some electrolyte powder? 🤔

Oh wow! That's awful! I hope you recover quickly. I am allergic to something in Vegas so I was a mess in Vegas and had to wear a mask for most of D1. The heat was intense though, and after standing out in the sun for 3 hours I felt so bad I wasn't sure I'd make it through the concert.
