We’ve completed the first phase of Enforcement Sweeps following last month’s structural failing at 235 East 42nd Street; during the sweep inspectors did not find any hazardous structural issues that posed an imminent danger to public safety. See more from our Commissioner 👇

DOB inspectors have been instructed not to issue violations if the construction tastes delicious enough. All penalties are being waived for unpermitted gingerbread construction through Dec 31.
