I haven't been followin what goes on in the mlp fandom for years. Did a group exodus happen at once or did everyone happen to find me from something lol (even tho I didn't post my old stuff on this acc) I haven't seen half y'alls name in a while, big nostalgia

NyaSeiru @nyaseiru.bsky.social · 24/12/2025

For myself uh, I'm still here, I just don't really touch social media actively and kinda just hang in small circles Maybe I'll branch again and post on socials again, but it's pretty comfy like this

150

NyaSeiru @nyaseiru.bsky.social · 24/12/2025

There's an interesting observation of how different the tipping point is for people to join the exodus, yet it's hard to convince peeps to permanently leave income/follow list/the viewing algorithm even if they think they hate it Nothing wrong with that, it's just unfortunate in the grand scheme

NyaSeiru @nyaseiru.bsky.social · 17/01/2025

Also honestly, even those with large numbers still complain when their numbers dip/stagnate - so it's just an annoying feeling no matter the score

010

NyaSeiru @nyaseiru.bsky.social · 17/01/2025

Simple answer really is to just ignore it But to explain it, it's because the number itself is pretty pointless Art quality and interest =/= likes/follows Having friends, and fans who chat with ya, that's what matters more. And not just in a vague friendship'y way, but also profit and popularity

NyaSeiru @nyaseiru.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

It's totally saying nope lol just needa tackle it one step at a time anyways, and hopefully make progress somehow

NyaSeiru @nyaseiru.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

January in-progress goals: - improve art quality - complete monthly merch obligation - complete sketch coms - make progress learning unity + C# - start learn blender - buh

I think it was limited on twitter due to abuse, but it's so limited that I can even lose track of posts I saw a moment ago

NyaSeiru @nyaseiru.bsky.social · 05/01/2025

I don't check social media ver often, so I appreciate being able to scroll for a while on bsky While back on twitter, I'll scroll by many ads, and then it's the end of the feed only a few hours into the past

I've been browsing art while on my trip, and I saw a lot of watermarks on top of glaze filters It's a way for everyone to fight machine learning and art theft But it reminded me of old days on dA, because back then there was also so many watermarks - that I couldn't see the art behind it anymore

Rough drawing rkgk Made it as far as making proper lines, but started losing the vibe - I gave it a rough shading painting at least so it'd look nice I'm reminded more of what I'm lacking, time for more studies #original #animeart #roughdrawing #rkgk

An original character rough drawing. A blue catgirl stands in a field of red to yellow flowers. The sky is blue with lots of clouds in the distance. She's holding a flower in her hands, one eye closed, and looking at you with a smile.

Probably same for me Yet I keep spending it on dailies and naps instead

quick rough sketch rkgk I've been out of touch from drawing, so I'm going to do some quick drawings here and there to get used to it #original #animeart #sketch #rkgk

An original character made for the artwork. A catgirl with long brown hair sitting on the floor in a room. She's petting a cat that's sitting on her lap. There's also a cat against her leg, and a cat sitting in front of a ball of yarn in front of her. The cats are drawn in a simple and deformed manner as that's the unique way I draw them.

Feeds was a nice feature from tweetdeck I really liked - but then it was redesigned, also became sub only, beh I'm reminded how much I missed the feature

I did my best to find all the artists I wanted to follow I did it all at once, so now my everything hurts Definitely missed people, but I'll try again another day For now I'll take a break, learn the site more, and get back to drawing later

Recently, many people want to move to Bluesky thanks to a new Twitter problem. There is a app to compare Twitter and Bluesky, and your username is similar to a popular artist. Many people followed without double checking.

I've drawn up to artistic nudity (Non-sexual Nudity filter) rarely and I'll probably consider sharing them here While I can't say I've never drawn Adult Content filter stuff, that probably won't be posted Graphic Media filter won't likely be used either, since I've never drawn it

000

NyaSeiru @nyaseiru.bsky.social · 18/10/2024

Yaho, if you're unable to see my first post, I marked it as suggestive as I tend to draw ver slightly ecchi, and is the case for one of the example If you're interested in seeing filtered art from myself and others, head over to Settings > Moderation > Content Filters and adjust to your preference

I haven't drawn in a while Here's a sample of my art that I want to draw more of I want to keep getting better at art I want to draw more cute characters

An original character artwork, drawn in June 2024. A youthful wolf girl is sitting on a bed and surrounded by pillows. Her hair is very fluffy and reflects prismatic light. Star-shaped lights hang above and a crescent moon is in the background.

A pinup fanart sketch of Hiiro from Bomber Girl, drawn in September 2024. She wears a shrine maiden outfit that reveals the sides of her body significantly. Her hair covers one eye, and she has a pair of wings on her head and from her lower back.

A fanart of Mococo and Fuwawa from Hololive, drawn in September 2023. Mococo is on the left in front of Fuwawa. They are both dog girls. They are both looking at the viewer and with their hands in a claw-like pose.

A fanart of an original character by @mizutwo, drawn in May 2023. The character is a mix between a rabbit and a cat (a cabbit), with rabbit ears and a cat tail. She sits on top of city stairs. She's holding a water bottle and showing a peace sign towards the viewer below. A blobby animal version of a cabbit on the steps next to her left foot.
