#firelightjayceau the prelude Benzo's new worker, Jayce. Few people know where he came from. Most know him as the guy who can fix up anything mechanical. (4/5)

Black and white drawing of Jayce working on something as Benzo oversees him. Jayce is in his twenties, clean-shaven, and his hair is just long enough to tie back. He's wearing a blacksmithing apron, with no shirt underneath, and work gloves. His arms are covered in a myriad of scars.

Jayce aks, "Benzo. Have I ever thanked you for taking me in?"
Benzo answers, "Only a dozen times. Don't add to it, lad."

Black and white drawing of Benzo teaching Jayce and Ekko about the work. Benzo is holding a device, fiddling with it, as Jayce and Ekko watch and listen carefully. Jayce is wearing a white tank-top, work gloves and a tool pouch.

Benzo is saying, "You gotta pay attention to the fine-tuning, kid. Air's denser down here."

Black and white drawing of Jayce and Ekko working side-by-side, Jayce laughing as Ekko ribs him. Jayce is leaning against a counter, holding a notebook and a pencil, calculating something. Ekko is holding a circular lid, inspecting it.

Ekkos is asks, teasingly, "You do know that Benzo's never letting you man the register?"
Jayce, laughing, answers, "Of course I do! You don't need to tell me twice."

Black and white drawing of Benzo, Ekko and Jayce on their lunch break. They're all sitting on a roof, each holding their bowl of food and eating.

Benzo and Ekko look at Jayce, praising his food. Jayce looks back, smiling.

Benzo is saying, "Why'd you go darkening my doorstep when you could have gone to Jericho's, huh?"
Ekko adds, "Your cooking's really good! Really!"
Jayce, bashful, replies, "It's my mother's recipe, not mine."

#firelightjayceau interlude pt 1 Ekko and Jayce, in the aftermath. (1/8) nightmares

Monochrome drawing of Jayce standing guard as Ekko tries to sleep.
Jayce is sitting on the floor, leaning against Ekko's bed. He's gripping the wooden handle of an axe.
Ekko is in bed, covered in a blanket. He has a hand on Jayce's shoulder, as if to reassure himself that Jayce is still there. Jayce looks back at the touch, smiling comfortingly, saying, "Hey, Flash. Can't sleep either?"

not that!!!! (● ˃̶͈̀ㅡ˂̶͈́)੭ꠥ⁾⁾ ✂️ #lesbingqiu

SQQ sitting at her home desk. She’s wearing Binghe’s gym shorts and a loose v-neck knit sweater and you can see just a bit of cleavage. Her computer monitor has post-its on it. The written text says “scrolling memes on lunch break” she says “oh—“ in a speech bubble

SQQ says “hey Binghe— do the thing” and holds her hand out in an L shape expectantly. She’s obviously just seen this on her phone and is excited.

Butch Binghe was looking at some papers and turns to look at SQQ’s hand. In the next panel, she honestly looks like she’s got no idea what’s going on but is looking at SQQ’s hand still.

Binghe, having come up with a response, makes her hand into an L shape as well, and slots it into place in SQQ’s hand. Much like when you make two peace signs/scissor symbols with your hand and slot them into place with each other. This is a reference to a certain activity.
In the next panel, “The Thing” is explained to be the trend where you make an L-shaped shelf with your hand and your dog or typically your significant other will come and place their chin in it.
