I don't understand tech companies' obsession with taking away alphabetical or chronological order from their products. I hate the random order they rearrange my stuff without permission. I feel like I'm in a constant state of pissed off from the barrage of regular UI changes from big tech.

My health this year has been absolutely horrible. Really hard getting anything done when so much of my time has been sucked up by illness.

Currently bedbound bc sick, so I've been reading free beginner level eBooks in Japanese (from tadoku.org) and I'm so charmed by how many people write stories about their pets with accompanying photographs and image edits. This kind of art is so delightful to me.

Everytime I think I should post more or promote my art more on social media, I end up deciding, "Nah." I feel like a hermit that emerges from their cave once a week to throw a comic out into the wild before retreating back into the darkness.

"i don't have any time" it's okay me neither. it's fine if it takes you months or years. it's fine if you never finish. just give it a shot, you might like it. "it's gonna be bad" that's okay. humans need to make bad art to live.

I want a teleport skin that tells everyone I'm a forgetful dummy. #ffxiv #ff14 #ffxivart

Teleport skins: upon arrival: Raudus teleports to somewhere in Limsa Lominsa, but stops on his tracks and looks puzzled. Why did he come here?

Upon teleporting away: Raudus looks thoughtful, then shrugs and starts teleporting away, but then exclaims: "Oh! Right! I came here to---" and his sentence is cut off as he gets teleported.
This teleport skin's set name would be "I forgot what I teleported here for and remembered just as I teleported away".

I think we (artists) need to release ourselves from the idea of sketch > lines > colour because the process isn't always so straightforward. It blinds us to other methods getting to the vision of what we want to create.

I've been slowly filling out my FF14 sightseeing log and trying to take nice screenshots of the locations. As annoying as the ARR time and weather windows are, there really are some unique sights bc of them. Removing them from later expacs for QoL kinda detracts from the experience.

Star Fox sometimes reminds me of group projects in school

Fan comic of the Nintendo series StarFox

Panel 1: Peppy Hare gestures to formation diagrams, asking “and we all know what to do when the enemy’s on our tail, right?”

Panel 2: Slippy says “Fly in front of Fox and let him shoot them down!”
Falco says “Fly in front of Fox, and let him shoot ‘em down.”
Peppy says “Fly in front of Fox! Let him shoot them down!”
Fox yells “s-somersault! You somersault!!”
