The entrances were open, and many did not notice the signs with QR codes and directions to pay hung high on light poles well above eye level. One driver scanned the codes, and was directed to a website listing the prices as $5,000 for two hours, or $11,000 for the day.

Did y'all see the guy who carried an entire canoe during the Twin Cities Marathon? He did it as a show of support for the Boundary Waters. He's now been disqualified for breaking the rules (no bulky items, costumes or props that extend beyond the perimeter of the body)

Assistant Hennepin County Public Defender Raissa Carpenter, one of Boelter’s attorneys, told Judge Juan Hoyos that that even if she and her co-counsel, Bryan Leary, were to clear their entire calendar they could not review the evidence in time for trial on Nov. 2. Christian Castro, 52, was stopped by agents with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension in a traffic stop near his attorney’s office in Minneapolis and taken to jail. Castro allegedly shot Julio Cesar Sosa-Celis in north Minneapolis on Jan. 14, and later lied about it to the FBI.
