I’ve been trying to get my hands on some 30th anniversary Pokemon cards. I quit collecting when it became impossible to buy anything but this set brings me a lot of nostalgia and I thought it would be really cool to have a piece of history. I ended up buying some for 2x price… 😔

I love seeing starmin writing about their interactions with the boys at the M&Gs! Makes me so happy to see so many amazing interactions. It’s actually wild they look you up you before meeting you.

Why do people want to use AI generated images of themselves to represent them? Imagine meeting a client or coworker for the first time irl and they’re like “you look nothing like your photo.” That’s so embarrassing.

Owning this means everything to me. Growing up, pokemon and vocaloid were my two biggest (and most long-standing) special interests. I was heartbroken I couldn’t see this live, but I’m so happy to be able to own this blu-ray to watch the concert at home.

Something that I don’t really hear discussed is just how much intuitive drawing comes from practice and careful observation. Being able to make those little decisions that make a drawing that much more accurate is a huge part of what separates the experiences from the newbies.

Any artists, can you share your secrets for fighting shrimping when drawing? Wondering if there’s something I can buy to help with my posture or raise my tablet. I have scoliosis so I get back pain after an hour of drawing.

I just had my “end of year” review with my boss. Lots of positive feedback but I got hit especially hard this year with stuff about communication. I tried so hard, too. I didn’t have the nerve to ask what I could change. I know I shouldn’t linger on it, but…I feel like I’ll never be good enough.
