🛰️The satellite image this morning is zoomed out a little so that you can see the upper level low moving out - look at the clouds over Idaho and eastern Washington and Oregon. Stratocumulus is coming into our region with more stratus towards the North Coast northwards. #CAwx

Currently, there is a solid channel of cool NW winds over the CA coastal waters combining with nocturnal radiative cooling to space (atmosphere is dry above the marine layer) resulting in increasing early morning stratus and fog. Cool air flow continues through mid week. #CAwx
