i think the biggest tragedy of realizing that i can't hear sub freqs well is that other people aren't getting the sensory experience that i get. i sincerely wish people could *feel* the bass on their ears. it's pure euphoria

now, i dropped out of college. i really hated most of it. but the one thing i actually really liked was being able to heat my own food in my own room whenever i wanted and it wouldn't disturb anyone in the same building

i had a coworker who was kind of like. confused/baffled at the concept of me having a microwave in my room and i was like "why is that weird" and then i realized that most of the ppl there have not had the opportunity to live in a dorm where you kind of Have To have a microwave in your room

like to be more specific, after WW2 a lot of folks migrated from the carribean to the uk. they took their culture with them (as people tend to do) and that included art and language, especially music. so eventually jamaican patois became a core part of that specific british accent

i'm half jamaican, i have jamaican family members, that's like my reference point. me being able to hear the resemblance isn't a fluke as much as it's the echoes of history i didn't know about yet

i'm being very genuine here, i'm not sure where you're seeing inconsistency? everything looks pretty consistent to me; there's squircles in menu dialogues and that's all i've seen that could be considered square. and technically yeah that's true but it's definitely not square in the same way it[...]

We report: this is rain far away, late, and somehow in the path of the sunshine this time as well. It is dry where we are (it feels humid, but under the threshold for precipitation), and we think the wind is pushing the situation away from us. Our eyes are stuck to the horizon.
