My husband is having the GEEKIEST DAY EVER. first his GIJoe omnibus arrives and he learns headquarter were originally in own home town. Now some COD nonsense has him cheering and singing Bohemian Rhapsody 🤦🏻‍♀️

It especially stings when the crossword clue is about a thing that so thoroughly encompasses your #momlife and you can’t see it right away. That “often” is killing me.

Crossword clue states “Halloween costume that often includes suspenders and a fake mustache”
The answer shows MARIO.
Typed above both I wrote “ I would like to argue that it is overalls not suspenders and that this slight cost me precious seconds on my constant attempt to go under a minute on today’s Mini.”

To fuel your pi ponderings, if you are new to this, here’s the note I stuffed in my kid’s lunchbox. #happypiday #mathmommy

Hand written note that reads:
“Dear Alex,
Happy pi (symbol) day! Pi is so cool because it mysteriously shows up with every circle no matter how big or small. How?
If you measure the distance around (C) the circle and divide it by the distance across (d) the circle, you always get pi!!
(Then I drew a circle with an arrow circling around it and labeled it C. And I drew the diameter of the circle with an arrow on top of it and labeled it d. I then wrote C/d = Pi with a surprised face next to it with a speech bubble saying “Woah!”)
There’s even more cool stuff about pi(symbol), but that’s where it all begins. Amazing. See you soon.
