Btw, first time playing a bard, and part of me wants to try to add some immersion by quickly cramming in bardcore/medieval or guitar/lute covers in my phone xD

Art from 2020. Man, def. gonna redraw this one. I guess I'll unveil the fact that I play DnD. Meet the first PC you'll see, Kithri Tahlins! A halfing bard that loves to sing tales of heroes past and present. I'll be playing as her in a campaign I just joined. Let chaos ensue. #dnd #art #OC

Hitting that milestone's pretty crazy, congrats! All my intro's right here, but rn I'm branching off to other mediums to animation and 3D. Still draw ofc. bsky.app/profile/nvar...

This was part of a mascot making contest for a Discord server I'm in. They're a tiefling with a gaming and art hobby, with a shy demeanor. I didn't win... But at least I stretched my character designing muscles for this past month. #art #DigitalArt #CharacterDesign #artsky #MyArt #artist

🧵P.P.S. Don't worry, I'm not letting the social media numbers get to me. These accounts are for me first and foremost. (Tho the bad algo stuff can be annoying ngl) Tho if anyone comes across my stuff and engages w/ it, much appreciated.

🧵 4. At this point, writing this is more for me to set my goals and try to be better. Though, I appreciate ya'll that managed to read all my rambling. Those that follow me, thank you. If you're still there. P.S. I REALLY didn't capitalize on the starter pack craze last year, did I?

Nobu (NVArts) @nvarts.bsky.social · 31/03/2026

🧵 3. It's gonna lead me to not draw as much (like 2 hours a day), but I'm getting into new stuff that's art adjacent (animation, graphic design, etc) so that I can widen my horizons. Either two best case scenarios from that: those will lead me to a new job, or I can prolly open comms.

Nobu (NVArts) @nvarts.bsky.social · 31/03/2026

🧵 2. Honestly, not feeling too good w/ my life rn. Trying to find a job, learning new skills, making new art for my portfolio, current events, and feeling lonely (haven't talked with my buds in a while). Still, I'm trying my best, and I'm moving forward. Made a schedule, and I hope to stick to it.

🧵 1. I completely missed out on a full month w/o an artwork. I know I shouldn't feel THAT bad since it's whatever. But it's a goal I set myself, and I failed it. Maybe I can make up for 2 for this month. If nothing else, I can at least share some practices and a new WIP. #artsky #sketch #art #oc

Lowkey relate to this. The latter statement especially. Might also have to do with not clogging up our media tab? I shared some daily practices a few months ago, but stopped it since it didn't get much or any engagement (as in I wanna hear peeps' feedback, not numbers btw)

Not socializing enough, sorry. What do I even say or comment to peeps I follow?? I'm losing my social touch. I don't got much going on atm. Too much personal and IRL stuff keeps me from drawing. The times I do, it's just concept and practice that's not really worth sharing here.

Multiple ways that I use: 1. "This name sounds cool and right for my OC" 2. Random name generator (how my DnD Sorcerer got her surname xD) 3. Based on OC's concept or design origin. May also include some research. (e.g. characters from Pokemon S&M; plenty of them are plants and flowers)

Recent years have been awful for artists (like myself) that just thought of sharing their art at the time. Makes me think if only I started earlier... Side note, paint's really good! Fooled me into thinking those are stock models or something 'til I did a double take, hehe.

You ain't alone. My friends' have shared a large amount of references that I was gonna organize when I got the time. Made some progress by going through broad strokes (a folder for body parts, poses, coloring, backgrounds etc.) but there's still a lot to sift through xD

2025 Art Summary. I think I like Hololive. And hard games. And my ghost girl. You can kinda see I veered off from graduation tributes. I wanted to swich it up, tho I got the others queue'd. I wanna flesh out my OCs more on top of more practices. Happy New Year, fellas! #art #artsky #illustration

Biboo playing the peak Batman games? Heck yeah. BTS: I mixed in a classic batman cover art by Jim Lee, with BatGam's design based off the Batgirl from the 2004 cartoon, the the background based on the look from the 80's cartoon. Welp. This is my last finished piece of the year.

I think 3 days is enough for me to decide that I'll be also posting there, even knowing the risks. I've barely just started with this account. I won't quit sharing my work on other platforms. I'll cross that bridge when I get to the point it finally happens to me.
