Let's be honest, in most seasons, only a handful of teams have a real chance of winning it all. I'd just give every team (say outside the top 8) the same lottery odds. I'd rather have the 9th best team pick up the top rookie and become a contender than the worst team get it and still be shit.

Totally agree. Money is where the power and influence is. Countries using the USD as the world reserve allows the US to benefit massively. They are risking that position with the stuff they're doing. If the dollar loses that Reserve status, it devalues massively and your influence goes with it
