Carving them out is totally valid! I use both methods, but I lean more towards undo/redo, myself. It's always a bit of a mix though :B And thanks so much! Inking is my fave part to do (colouring is a distant afterthought, haha)

You could try thinking about what you'd tell a friend if they were in that same situation; What would you say to them? It can be easier to accept some things in others that we won't allow for ourselves. If you would encourage them, then maybe there's a way to apply that thinking to yourself too?
