nah short form content is fine and does nothing bad to you. I've been watching it for 9 hours a day every day for two years and I'm fine.

bsky has its own issues for sure

❯ julie @nuphory.com · 18/01/2026

starting to feel like bsky might be a better platform since I just got my art stolen by a major "aesthetics" account on the other site

what? isnt BPM like... auto-detectable in some way? how could they get it wrong that many times?

working on a 200 page document about the religious and aesthetic philosophical benefits and cosmic relevance of the nuphory face

030

you are entirely correct and it's highly unfortunate because I thought this was gonna be the place to talk to people I appreciate it also

110

right??? it's all just bots or bitter people

230

anytime I post in here it's only weird bluesky replyguys talking to themselves in the responses. I'm only allowing followers to respond from now on because I wanna know what YOU think, not what some random person that doesn't care about me OR you thinks.

61122

that's the thing though, your old experience is yours to preserve, on your own harddrive. not the artists job to publicly keep up what you personally want.

000

probably did something against your distributors ToS

not sure since I use adblock and don't pay for Spotify

000

no it's just cool that I'm culturally influential

020

something that gets 3-8k streams a day

000

at some point, the most difficult thing you can do as a music artist is to avoid doing anything difficult in a song while still making it bang

1524015

self absorbed post :: it always gives me whiplash when im browsing soundcloud / spotify and i randomly hear one of my loops / samples in a song. happens like once a day too. i appreciate that people are using it

42054

yeah its as simple as that, sometimes you just couldnt do any better at the time and you dont think its reflective of your idea either so its totally fair to update and change
