Nick and Charlie by Alice Oseman - 4 stars. gay romance, novella. This is where the movie's plot comes from, it explains a lot of why it felt like it came out of no where after only reading the graphic novels. A necessary bump in their relationship, but way too angry toned for their personalities.

『 As a heads up, I post about games, books, and etc, do not expect only xiv content. My gposes are tagged under #kho-gposed, and my stuff is generally suggestive, I personally do not take nsfw gposes. Mostly a quiet person on socials. 』

you know it's sad to see someone collect so much merch of a character, to immediately move on as soon as they find another, and sell the whole hoard like its nothing

One Reason to Stay by Ryder O'Malley - 4 stars! gay romance really enjoyed this, it felt well written and didn't feel like I was reading erotica, which often happens in mm romance. A small town romance where Jason owns a comic store and has a fun encounter with the assumed to be straight Simon.

Bury Your Gays by Chuck Tingle - 4/5 stars horror, thriller, and lgbt loved this, really creepy and scary at some bits. I see the Cabin in the Woods comparison. Misha is a scriptwriter who is facing a growing corporate greed in Hollywood that is demanding he kill off his gay characters, or else.

I think my guess for Deadlock is: Wave 1: Rat King and Deadman Danny Wave 2: Nurse Harrow and Violet Wave 3: Baba and Soloman

deadlock just does character designs so right. I like how they touch on subtle but common tropes or references to the lifestyle in nyc

Disney High by Ashley Spencer - 2.5//5⭐'s. I feel like this was just so surface level. It's not really a look into the rise and the fall and just commentary on the whole Disney timeline at it's peak. Most info was plucked from interviews and podcasts in recent times. Just not what I expected.

William by Mason Coile. 3.5//5 stars. ⭐ Although short, it dragged on just a tiny bit. Started tuning out half way, and once the ending/reveal happened I had to go and reread the last 5-6 chapters. Had the impression that this trope was overdone, but this one pulls off a very unique ending.

Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman - 4.5/5 stars. ⭐ I get the hype now. It's like an isekai anime but 2-3 episodes in this one book. Some people are being weird about it, you know who they are. I'll probably keep reading the series over time.

Heartstopper Volume 5 and Volume 6 by Alice Oseman. 5 ⭐. I loved this series, but oddly reading it has put me into a spiraling depression. It's so perfect, the characters are so lovable, to the point it hurts. This has become a learning lesson that some stories will trigger me in ways never before.
