Nun @nunmanji.bsky.social · 26/09/2026I've never actually watched To Catch A Predator or Dateline. Watching some just now really elevates the depiction of the show in this film. It's actually uncanny. 000

Nun @nunmanji.bsky.social · 31/07/2026That being said The Odyssey is probably the most "I just want to enjoy this" feeling I've had in awhile. Coming off of Obsession discourse into whatever people are saying about the Odyssey as far as a culture war thing has me thoroughly disinterested. 000
Nun @nunmanji.bsky.social · 31/07/2026The speed and degree in which a piece of art becomes a culture war topic sometimes does indicate just how good or transformative its messaging is. As annoying as it is and how I'd prefer to just enjoy something without all the co-opting it is a powerful sign of something making its cultural mark. 010

This essentially gives a one-year deadline to plug some sizeable, yet quite tricky holes. 91370742

Nun @nunmanji.bsky.social · 11/02/2026Nearly every new Pokemon game as of recent, people who actually play the game say is surprisingly fun and doing something unique for the series. Yet people somehow get collective amnesia when it's time for a new title to pretend the series is bad and not doing anything new. 020

Nun @nunmanji.bsky.social · 30/01/2026I started writing reviews for stuff I finish that I keep to myself. This one ended up being a bit longer than the norm, so I made it into a substack. I'll probably keep doing these as I beat more mainline titles. open.substack.com/pub/nunmanji...open.substack.comPokemon Red/Blue/Yellow ReviewGeneration 1 at least online has gained a somewhat contentious reputation. 021
