How do y'all like my new clothes dryer? (Mine apparently died and I only discovered this AFTER a load of laundry)

A spare bathroom with clothes draped on a drying rack and hanging from the bath curtain rod. 2 air movers and a fan are blowing air all around in an attempt to dry the wet clothes. It smells like fresh mountain scent or whatever the laundry detergent is.

If I hadn't put off CFF packing and prep I would probably be out enjoying this beautiful sunset and weather with a long walk, but, alas, that is not what I did, lol.

Canes game could have gone much better (our offense did not look like they were gelling at all), but there's always going to be some rust. At least we got a point! Shake it off, learn from the mistakes, and come back stronger. Hockey's back, woo!

6 years ago today I lost Mom to cancer and it's still hard to believe she's gone. She was not just the best mother I could ever ask for, she was also a close friend, an adventure buddy, and someone I just loved spending time with and talking to. Love you and miss you, now and always, Momma!

I think this Panthers - Falcons game is the first NFL game I have actually watched in several years. Yes, that includes Super Bowls. It's weird seeing the Panthers play like a halfway decent team. But after what happened to State yesterday and my luck I definitely expect something to go wrong, lol.

My first full 18 hole disc golf round in almost 2 months, and while I am definitely rusty this score is on track with what I should average here (Kentwood)! My arm seems to be fine after the round, too, so I will mark this as a huge win on my road to recovery.

I got my flu and COVID vaccines yesterday, and was expecting to be completely knocked on my ass today and tomorrow by it. Thankfully that is not the case! I have a dull headache and some nausea (plus a sore arm) but, as far as my history with COVID vaccine reactions go, this is nothing, ha. Woo!

The sunset is arriving earlier and earlier each day, boo. I got what I thought was an early start on my bike ride but an hour later as I was wrapping up the Sun was already getting pretty low on the horizon. At least fall temperatures should be on the way! ("Should" being the operative word)

I played 9 holes of disc golf earlier this week and 18 today and my right arm was more or less fine after each, which is a big improvement. It didn't feel 100% but it certainly wasn't as bad as it has been. I'm thinking this coming week will be time to test it on a full 18 hole course!

I used the disc golf bug-out kit I keep at the office to play the campus 9 hole course after work. I definitely felt a little bit of the pain I have been having in my right arm but it wasn't as bad as I was expecting and I finished the round at -3, which isn't bad!

Today is Gracie's birdday! She turned 28 today. It's kind of wild to have a companion animal that has been with you for more of your life than she hasn't (she came home when she was only 3ish months old). I love my little baby bird! :)

My air conditioning has been wonky lately, and apparently it was because the drainage was clogged AGAIN (after an unclogging 4 weeks ago). The technician had to resort to blasting air through the drainage exit, causing a fountain of water at the unit and the thermal shock blew out this bulb. Lulz!
