Always have a cat review your modular system and patch.

Broken 80s analog gear modified into a no-input mixer feedback synth gives zero fucks.

A no-input mixer creates brutal feedback and offers no mercy, including toward those attempting to wield it.

Hey, @qubitelectronix.bsky.social. The Bloom v2 module is rad and will never leave my rig. <3

Added an Elta Solar 42F drone synthesizer to my studio. This instrument is just... magnificent. One of the most immersive and rewarding desktop synthesizers I've ever played. Top-notch build quality and electronics. Perfect for ambient music compositions.

Working on a modular ambient set using time-lapse photography for visuals. I chose heresy and used a super fast BPM to drive the patch. Result? Beautiful ambient textures that remind me of the staccato elements in the Oppenheimer soundtrack. I'll share a sample if I still like the patch tomorrow.

Event Horizon has nothing on this harsh noise hell portal.

A Soma Labs Pulsar 23 drum machine, patched.

A scene from the film Event Horizon showing the ship's faster than light drive which is a gateway to a really not fun place for visitors.

My favorite guitar, ever: Aristides with an Evertune bridge and Fishman active pickups. Perfection.

Some happy news—I’ll finally begin live streaming modular synth experiments later this month. Yeeting bleeps and bloops into the void always brings a smile to my face.

Tomorrow I begin work on a new Bad Domain album. Grief inspires most of my work. This time around I’m mourning my optimistic, idealized, and naive concept of the country I once called home.
