People rather drive an laggy british bus on roblox than play meep city

The image on the left shows a screenshot of the game selection "MeepCity" a former popular game on Roblox that one point used to have Millions of simutaneous players at once, the game was very controversial due to the lack of proper moderation that allowed people to make their avatars wear inapropiate clothes and do adult roleplay

On the right is Croydon the London bus simulator, well it is exactly as the title say, is just a game that you drive a virtual bus on a virtual recreation of london in Roblox. Vehicle simulations are a very niche community on roblox and they aren't know to get a lot of visits wich is suprising that it is getting more players than a former popular game

The people in power who are calling out for an ID age verification or a mandatory Digital ID realised that the democratization of the internet is too dangerous for their status quo and thus wants to keep it tamed to keep in power as much as possible

Is real or fake? I found this on a discord server while people were talking about trump and autism stuff

The image depicts an screenshot of a news report from fox news with a missive text "AUTISM ANNOUCEMENT" written in an agressive font with an image of Donald trump and Robert Kennedy Junior on the side

The concern of kids getting exposed to adult content on the internet is valid! But the problem is that we still depends of people that thinks that the internet is a huge truck, meaning that things such as the UK online safety act will only disrupt than help

Ironically the uk online safety act will only push people to more unsafe channels that are harder to regulate

Nowadays people pirate and crack things because they either have no money or they don't want to support greedy corporations. Now in the future people will pirate and crack things because they don't want to risk their credit card getting blocked or having their ID leaked on a russian .onion site
