It’s 14 years in my rear view mirror. I’m remarried and have had a lot of time to reflect. I was totally blindsided though. It was the most painful experience of my life. His best friend died and he has not been the same since.

Here’s the real issue IMO: subsidies are given to the wrong industries. Oil company subsidies should cease now. If you want Americans picking your food, then those industries need subsidies so the cost of our groceries is not ridiculous and maybe you can find ppl to do that backbreaking labor.
