He constantly threatened he would ruin my life if I spoke up about what happened to me, and he sure tried, especially financially - but I got up again. Constant threats of not being able to find someone better than him (which was wrong). After everything I have been through, I am still here. ❤️

It is why I do not interact with the Denver furry community if at all - a lot of people did not believe me (which is what I knew would happen, even in my suicide note, I felt like I had to commit suicide to prove the pain and abuse I went through was real). I will never forgive those people.

September 25 2024 I was incapcitated in the ER after trying to OD and poison myself because I was trapped in an abusive marriage. Suicide Prevention Month requires to also be aware of domestic violence, I did not see another way out of the abuse besides suicide. I am thankful I am here still.

To give context, I was anxious and scared in my relationship at the time where I was pavlovian conditioned to not believe in myself. I was not encouraged but instead criticized and constantly worried about someone hurting me. Not anymore

The woman I was 2 years ago would be so proud where I am at now. I remember crying, so anxious, not even able to do the sand dunes NP, I couldnt even do star dune. I was so anxious & crying with the people I surrounded myself with. Now I can do anything. its surreal how your environment impacts you
