Update: the model viewer now replicates every special effect shader from Time Stranger in the web browser! That's 467 digimon, 90 bosses, and 59 NPCs. 🦖 The project that started with Terriermon has now digivolved to GraceNovamon. What an evolution line. 💗 nuffle.me/dsts-viewer?... #digimon #デジモン

I cannot believe E.T. Digital Companion was a real game for kids on the Game Boy Color.

E.T. asks “What’s your favorite color?” with a stare that can only be described as malicious curiosity.

E.T. says “Please let us know the name of your school” with a smile that implies “we’ll know if you’re lying”.

E.T. asks “Are you on-line? What’s your email?” while turning his head back to you, as if to make sure you’re still following him to his unmarked van down the street.

“You can do anything if you put your mind to it” is such a weird sentiment. What does it even mean? How do you “put your mind to” something? It’s my *brain*, it puts itself where it wants. The rest of me is just playing defense lol. Pic unrelated. Probably.

I actually have been thinking about that - and since you asked, I just added it! There's a screenshot button under Stage now. 🎉 I'd like to expand this in the future to let you set a picture as the background, and maybe even crop the output. Might work on that after I get NPC faces working.

Okay, but for real this time, the eyes are *actually* shiny now! The viewer was blending that material wrong onto the eye shine mesh, in a way that had no visible effect on most digimon, but caused it to go entirely transparent on Dorugamon. The creature shines now. ✨

Fun #digimon discovery: in Time Stranger, Beelstarmon’s coat is hiding an emblem of Beelzemon on the back. Normally obscured by her hair, it’s only briefly visible in animations where her hair moves. (normally black, recolored pink for visibility) See models at: nuffle.me/dsts-viewer/

Gemini absolutely refuses to pick a lane on this

A google search for “sonic chili dog” followed by Gemini AI results, stating “Whether you are craving the real-life fast-food version or the iconic video game/movie snack, the Sonic Chili Dog has a few distinct variations”

I’ve seen fursuit paws both built on top of shoes, and without shoes (just lining + plush). But has anyone made the shoe part themselves? Well, here’s my hoof-sandal prototype. My current hooves are too loose and fall off while cuddling, so I’m trying to build in more support. #fursuitmaker
