Hey Kuvo, tip which helped me IMMENSELY for this kinda thing if ya wanna give it a go: paint the entire character in the shadow shade, then use a light shade to carve out the lighted parts. It is genuinely easier to add light after the shadow, linear burn is a good layer mode. lookin good yo!
