Here's a personal published in the August 12, 1978 edition of the Gay Community News, addressed to “Mousie Mousie Wildflower” from “Porcupine." This was written by Nancy Walker who edited the Classifieds, and in most issues from 1976-1985 she would publish a message to "Mousie Mousie Wildflower."
Newspaper clipping of a personals ad:
"Mousie Mousie Wildflower:
How'd you like the heat this week-end?
Took the starch out of my spine.
But I will repeat,
my noodle,
That I'm still
your porcupine.

Ally my love, P'pine"

Processing Archives
Time at Northeastern: 2 years
What you do: Make archival collections accessible to current and future researchers through "processing" (i.e. organizing, cataloging, and mitigating preservation risks).
Favorite part of your job: Each collection is unique and offers a window into a life, a community, a historical moment, etc. I learn something new each time.
Currently reading: The Saint of Bright Doors by Vajra Chandrasekera and A Woman in the Polar Night by Christiane Ritter
Currently binging: Hacks
Fun fact: My parents are archaeologists and lived/worked in Turkey for 30+ years!
