We welcome the progress made towards new ownership for Northampton Town FC, notwithstanding awaiting further detail of any proposed deal between Sports Alpha Capital and the club and what plans the new investors have for our club, not least clearing £20 million debt and moving forward sustainably.

From the NTFC AGM... Club debt to owners, as on 30 June, was £21 million. The club is losing £3 million, figure is expected to rise to £24 million by the end of June 2027. Sports Alpha NTFC, linked to the Brazilian Alexandre Pato, has been registered in the United States in Wilmington, Delaware.
