De'Von Achane tore his ACL... hope he gets better and we can find someone to replace that piece in the meantime

Alex 🌿💭 N3on @nt-n3on.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

aaand we have 2 injured RBs after playing the chiefs this is gonna be a rough next couple of weeks. i'm still impressed with what the phins could do and how long they kept up with KC despite the loss of multiple important pieces. better defensive & o-line effort than past weeks, we go next 🐬

I continue to be incredibly skeptical of Kochetkov in net... Please bring up Primeau

Thought about it and maybe I was motivated to watch the show again 1- to exercise free will, 2- to quality check what I once enjoyed watching, & 3- to emotionally oppose the sheer amount of toxic masculinity I've been surrounded by at work for the past while What can I say, I enjoyed the horses

Now that I'm done with work, I laid back today and chilled I watched through like 6 assorted episodes of MLP:FIM and honestly, still slaps a decade later Definitely gonna keep an eye on swiping a Luna bishoujo figure one day cause man she's the goat

Alex 🌿💭 N3on @nt-n3on.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

5 of the last 9 posts on the NHL Insta devoted to the rats in FLA Gary Bettman dickriding the Panthers crazy style lmao crazy work Even Anaheim in their game against the Barracuda (WITH A HAT TRICK) didn't get this much coverage lol

Alex 🌿💭 N3on @nt-n3on.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

I really wish I could've actually stuck to my goal of watching every Dolphins game this year, but work had to send me into nights again and break my streak on week 2... Let's see if I can be present for the next 15 games and make that my streak now lol

100

Alex 🌿💭 N3on @nt-n3on.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

I think the Panther's colour commentator might be the most biased and least interesting broadcaster I've ever heard. Also they really sent their playoff roster into the Canes AHL team like ok guys, can't wait until three of your players get injured in January and you miss the wildcard again.

Alex 🌿💭 N3on @nt-n3on.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Ok I'm over the edge now. This company just disrespects me. I woke up yesterday for my last shift of the job at 6am. Sudden change of plans, now my last shift is a night shift. I got back this morning, tired, and I was asked to pick a worker up from the train station at 2pm.

Alex 🌿💭 N3on @nt-n3on.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

i'm so sick of this job dude got to work this morning, supposed to be my last day of work before i'm done with this job and start my new one wednesday i got sent back to the hotel and i'm working nights tonight, as well as regular hrs monday & tuesday. what is even happening anymore

Alex 🌿💭 N3on @nt-n3on.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

Sent by resignation email this morning, and I'm in the process of getting things set up at a local burger joint I worked at before leaving for school in Windsor. Less pay but no bigots so I think that's a worthy tradeoff Gotta keep moving forward baby

120

Alex 🌿💭 N3on @nt-n3on.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

These guys are bigots man. The work isn't that insane, but I know it gets insane if I stay for a prolonged amount of time. Every other hour it's either something about sex or active vocal objectification of women. One guy matched with a trans girl on tinder and is passing her photo around Gross

Alex 🌿💭 N3on @nt-n3on.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Okay I've been working alongside a specific guy who's been VERY strange so far through my time at this job. I didn't have any problems with him, but things have evolved beyond what I could imagine My first 🤨 moment was when he played a song for me in the car, which was abhorrently AI.

Alex 🌿💭 N3on @nt-n3on.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

Some lonely few weeks incoming, working in Kingston on a job and living out a hotel room until I'm done. I hope things go smoothly but MAN I don't enjoy having to pack my things and move. At least, with school, it served as a 2nd base of operations throughout the upcoming year. Fuck it, we ball

000

Alex 🌿💭 N3on @nt-n3on.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

i think employers should just stop releasing schedules and make everyone wait until ~12hrs before a shift to tell them they're working i think that would be so awesome instead of letting your workers plan their lives around what makes them money

000

Alex 🌿💭 N3on @nt-n3on.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

infinite money glitch confirmed (my workplace is obsessed with me and won't let me have a day off)

riders have turned over the ball 3 TIMES THIS GAME IT'S SO OVER oulette and schaffer-baker get injured and the roughriders just start losing to random ass teams

Alex 🌿💭 N3on @nt-n3on.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

i start a volunteering position with a local hockey team soon and my NUMBER 1 PRIORITY is gonna be making graphics for them so they're not using AI cause it looks like slop

Alex 🌿💭 N3on @nt-n3on.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

So my desktop has been weird ever since I built it. Super strange audio and visual issues, and at this point I've chalked it up to a faulty motherboard. It's always sucked when some games I love are unplayable or are hindered because of these problems, but I've lived with it for years. (cont.)

Dear sports fans, The first season I followed as an adult was the Carolina Hurricane's 2025-26 season. They're Stanley Cup Champions. I will never be a greedy sports fan for the rest of my life. I got my 1, and anymore is garnish and I'm totally okay with this outcome.

Really been thinking about redecoration around my space. Snippet of my little hockey/variety shelf (which might get refreshed soon anyways)

110

Alex 🌿💭 N3on @nt-n3on.bsky.social · 31/05/2026

Hey so now that Carolina is in the finals... Can someone explain to me why people hate Carolina? It just feels to forced and unfounded but maybe I'm missing a piece of the "fuck the Canes" puzzle

020

Alex 🌿💭 N3on @nt-n3on.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

2 malls into my vacation and still can't find any canes merchandise My fault for living in Southwestern Ontario... No wonder people don't believe Canes fans exist here, no one sells anything from them I'll be in KW soon and I'll check there. Otherwise, I might have to ship an order (I'm broke)

things to always ignore in recipes: - amount of garlic - amount of onion - amount of salt - amount of seasoning (if recipe is on a website called "good eats with carol-jeanne" etc.)

While I'm getting really into baseball, I went on a long-ass tangent learning about the Tokyo Yakult Swallows, and now I really wanna keep up with them alongside my 2 MLB teams. If anyone has anything to recommend me on the NPB or the Swallows, please let me know! I'd love to learn! #npb #swallows

feel the need to post about the monthly today and my performance bad. terrible. awful. idk what other words i can use to sum it up. i'm glad doubles went well with Azel (love you goat), but i certainly didn't do enough to pull my weight and fell completely flat once i had to play singles anyway

Low-key it wasn't that great. -The vibe wasn't that intriguing -Half the album was re-released music. Some songs I liked when they initially released, but nothing jaw-dropping -The new songs didn't impress me as much as I had wished they would I'll listen to the album a few more times at least

In my Hockey era, and my dad got me a Canes sweater-jersey for xmas. The best way I can look at the 2 main teams I follow is that they represent different eras of my life methinks Tampa was my childhood team and I've liked their brand ever since, Carolina is my 2025 adult team pick that I love now

060

Alex 🌿💭 N3on @nt-n3on.bsky.social · 20/12/2025

I'm genuinely so glad I passed my semester as well as I did. It felt like the pressure was on me from ~week 4 and it never let up for the entire rest of the semester. Tied together with no break week or anything made it feel like my semester was just so stressful (cont.)
