Entertainment anymore is often characters arguing non-stop. In my new novel #WhenThingsGotInteresting (released soon as a series of four books), there aren't fights, villains, and awful people being awful. There are interesting people in interesting situations using comic ways to deal with life.

Our guitarist Glenn's first drafts are almost just detailed outlines. The final drafts of his novels are typically twice as long (or longer) than his first draft as he gets to know his characters better with each draft.

For our guitarist Glenn who writes novels, it's how a character can change so much from how he views them early in the novel to who that character becomes by the end of the first draft. Early scenes for the character written months earlier have to be reworked to better fit who they ended up being.

Our guitarist Glenn's new novel, "When Things Got Interesting," is so long that his publisher is bringing it out (soon) in four parts. WTGI is a raucous ride through New York City and one of its posh suburbs in 1962, and it features a slew of characters.
