13th/90 at Somnio 8! I entered with the sole goal of having fun playing Melee regardless of winning or losing, and had mostly success in that regard. Lost some game 5 sets with borderline comical amounts of throwing, but they were good enjoyable sets regardless, so that was nice

it's been two weeks since Festa, and I feel like I still don't even fully comprehend all the ways in which it changed my life. Things are looking up :)

13th/128 at Avant 4! was my first real test playing solo Sheik in bracket of an EU major, which worked out nicely lost to convey and GG (caught in the crossfire of the great Sheik-Puff war of UK Melee) but learned a lot along the way so it was still a good experience, gg go next

Sometimes I think "I wish I was better at my hobbies" Then I remember there are people much worse than me at the same hobbies who tell me they think that. And it makes me realize that the people who are better than me also probably think that. Basically you just have that feeling no matter what.

PAL games used to take longer to localize and were released later (usually several months), so they had a bit of extra time to make small adjustments, bugfixes, or add little extra touches

Funny year. Got ranked top 5 in NL, better international wins and placements at majors than last year, made good improvements in the second half of the year, had more consistent results, and so my EU rank went...down? Tough competition. Guess I'll simply work harder this year 👀
