Spent time working on the web-based WebGPU Dota 2 spectator client ('broodmother'), decoupled it from the backend and made it a public repo: github.com/datdota/broo... It's also hosted at datdota.com/broodmother/ It's still quite young and buggy and that's okay! (Please no DDos!).

Working a bit on a PoC for a terminal client for spectating Dota 2; so I can watch on my Surface (no decent GPU) even when I'm on the go. Written in rust + ratatui + crossterm, getting a decent ~7fps, but dropping detail can get 15fps! This is in Ghosty, but braille fallback for worse terminals.

Made a "Tournament Preview" feature, and testing it out for TI 2026. It takes some time small config (context, teams, overrides [thanks Topson!]), then pulls ~120 stat types from historic data, sorts them by 'interesting' and picks some. Let me know what you think! datdota.com/leagues/prev...

Whitemon and @bzmdota just played their 500th game together. For bzm that's 41.2% of all his pro matches (for Whitemon, 31.69%). 329 pairs of players have 500+ games together, #1 is still @boxi98 & @mickeDOTA (1909 games), @zai_2002 & @YapzOrdota have the highest winrate (73.3%)

Kiritych~ with a personal record - the most tower damage he's ever done in a pro match (33724), and just the 6th time he's done over 30k. Also the highest GPM on a Lone Druid ever (1047) - only the 2nd one has had over 1k GPM on LD).

Earlier today there were two 20k+ comebacks: * Yakult Brothers coming back vs REKONIX * Vici Gaming coming back vs OG The record # of 20k+ comebacks games in a 24 hour moving window is 5, during DPC 2023 (3x SEA, 1x EEU, 1x SA). 7 windows of 4+ games.

Last weekend I got fed up with my Chrome extension for handling JSON, and made my own - it's now published (chromewebstore.google.com/detail/yet-a...) - color highlighting - schema analysis, enums, and export - filtering (using jq style) - annotations for dates - color themes - open source

So far this patch, @TSpirit_Dota2 are 47-0 in games where they take the first T3 tower. Obviously going highground means you're likely ahead, but converting a lead can be tricky! Of teams with 25+ successful highgrounds this patch, they are 4th in ranged rax conversion (82.98%)

Game 1 highlighted player is Miero * highest GPM of his career (844) * 4th highest XPM of his career (1104) * 2nd highest last hits per min (12.7) he's ever had * his 2nd fastest to 25k NW; fastest to @ 30k That said, it was the 2nd lowest overall kills per minute of the event.

Some stats from EWC on the first Tier 3 tower taken, with a focus on PVISION and BoomBoys. On average, BoomBoys go highground later, with smaller NW leads - but have 100% winrate when they take the first tier 3. BB have Aegis in 7/9 (77.8%) of their successful highgrounds; PVISION 8/14 (57.1%)

In game 2 between Parivision/Yandex, Watson snatched an aegis - his 18th of all time. Of the players with 1000+ pro games, Watson has averaged 0.0173 aegis steals per game - the 6th highest of all players (#1 is Gabbi with 0.0245).

Game #1 of BetBoom vs Vici saw gpk go 7/0/18. It's his 200th deathless game, the 14th most of all pro players. He goes deathless in ~13.67% of games, Monet and Nightfall are the only players with more deathless games and a higher deathless % than him.

At 40:00, 41:00, ... 45:00 Faith_bian (aka Bach) had the highest net worth in the game. There's only been 35 games where a Dark Seer has been #1 NW at _any_ of those times (including @Ceb!) and just 6 games where someone's done it in _all_ of those times.
