Wanted to update that improvement over the years meme, enjoy :D The 1st bunch of years were ROUGH for me cause firstly I was bullied by a grown up man, then got a "friend" who gave me a bunch of dumb advices I followed. Anyway, never stop drawing no matter how disappointing it is at first

2010 (13 y.o): The start of my art career (lmao). Used PS and wacom bamboo. A lot of fan-art, copies and traces. Colors which can burn your eyes

2011 (13-14): Something that resembles anatomy. Not so acid colors. The first "detailed" backgrounds

2012(14-15): Continued to learn anatomy. At some moment of time my tablet had broken, so I used touchpad to draw and drew mostly in traditional. Stopped to share my artworks in the web and disappeared due bullying. Cleaner lineart. Idk what was happening with paintings, I lost most of my digital art from that time

2013(14-15): Continued to do paintings. Changed software to the autodesk sketchbook and color painter. Got intuos5 tablet

2014(16-17): Returned to PS. Started to detail and render more than before. Also started to try to do better backgrounds

2015(17-18): A small amount of digital art, cause I was painting one pic at least for a month, cause wanted to do it perfect. Tried to use brushes or rendered in zbrush grass as shortcuts Wanted to be in gamedev one day (oh well)

2016(18-19): Returned to the internet cause was in need of money.
Got 1st customers, and thx to them, started to paint environments more often. 6 months later tried to draw in line and cell-shading again

2017(19-20): Still was improving render and environments. Got more commissions. More lined artworks. A lot of experiments with style

2018(20-21): Smth went wrong and I hadn’t been painting. Continued to improve bgs, sometimes played with my style. Tried to draw humans and more dynamic art

2019(21-22): Cell-shading is not enough, so started to add soft shading on the 2nd layer (or getting rid of cell-shading in general). Changed soft to CSP. In the last months started to paint again.

2020(22-23): Stopped using cell-shading, started to use soft one only.
Did much more paintings than last couple of years. Finished CG basics course. A lot of experiments

2021(23-24): Tried to do more paintings, finished sketching course. Switched to iPad and procreate closer to the end of year. BGs have taken more efforts than before. Experiments experiments experiments

2022(24-25): This year was tough for me mentally and I questioned my skill pretty often. But hey, I have more dynamic pieces at least than before and changed soft to cell shading again. Also more fanarts and personal stuff. Oh, I also made a couple of animations

2023(25-26): This year was... Interesting. Was doing a lot of IZ fanarts, got a BG artist position in fan-project. Finally started to use blender. Idk what became better but definitely something :D It was somewhat more chill year too

2024(26-27): It definitely was a hard-working year in sense of
commissions amount. At some point of time decided to bring back more textured feel to my backgrounds. Really happy with the result

2025(27-28): Explored the magic of really wide canvases. Found out that
I don’t have to put a ton of details into bg so it’d look good. Did a few paintings for art fight and was surprised how actually good I can do them...

2026(28-29): Switched to screen tablet in the middle of year. Somehow got more whimsy in my pictures. Started to make own merch! Also drew more humanoid characters than ever before. Learnt how to do some rig in 3D.

Oh nah, you can pay with cards either way as I said. They just will be the only option And in terms of payout it's the stripe option (basically you get there not even the full stripe account. It's just their own processing system is powered by stripe), and it goes to bank account from there

From an artist perspective: you still will have to use either paypal or stripe for payment processing (and if you have just stripe option active, people who want to pay with paypal won't be able to do that, only with cards) Was getting there some comms occasionally, and I'd say it's nice!
