To anyone saying "There's too many -punk genres in literature and gaming! People are making up new genres for everything they make, we don't need that many!": You probably do not know a lot about Punk.

Fellow artists, has anyone had some experience with drawing on a Samsung Galaxy tab s10 lite? I saw them for pretty cheap and I was considering getting one for sketching and inking my artworks, does it hold up? #bskyart #digitaldrawing

Took some beauty pics at the P.O.D. copy of my new game Sanguis Sanctus! In this #TTRPG you are thrown into the heart of a vampiric invasion in the 15th century. Demonic creatures are ravaging the world in what they call an "Anti-Crusade". Humanity's survival is by no means certain. #MorkBorg

Totally agree on this one! Only enemies that would fight to death are those who lack a sense of survival, like ghosts, hive mind creatures, or zealots. If given enough time to retreat, any creature would at least get out of harm's way

Working on the splash page for Sanguis Sanctus (made by @novecentogames.bsky.social) was a great chance to bring together my thing for grimdark atmosphere and what I love about the medieval era. Kingdom Come: Deliverance definitely had an influence! #TTRPG #environmentart

One of the things of Sanguis Sanctus that I'm most proud of is its dark setting! Here's a splash from the book, where you can discover the setting in 6 points or touchstones. I think this 6-points method works well to get the players hooked in your setting right away! #TTRPGs #Morkborg #dnd

Yeah! I'm totally fine with "silly", after all it's a game. But if in "session 0" we agreed for a serious tone, and you bring a lazy and stupid idea like "barbarian that snorts gravel and poops stone" you are ruining everyone else's fun, so it's about reading the room for me

Brief opinion: if you are someone joining a D&D campaign that is NOT humoristic with a stupid-ass character with a stupid idea, thinking it will be fun to ruin other adults' immersion and waste the precious time they found to gather and play, you should be kicked out, red card.🟥 #DnD #TTRPGs

To anyone designing a setting for a TTRPG: Don't be afraid to add homebrew rules to give a better feeling of the world you created. Most of the times is not that hard, and it's almost universally welcomed by players. #TTRPGs

3) This is more of a wish, but I would like to see some brutal, even Mörk Borg-ish, combat related tables for injuries and natural 20s. Let us rip the spine off some damned slavers in this setting!

2)I know this is probably going to ruffle some grognard feathers, but expect some changes to the setting. While I think slavery, tyranny and violenece are still going to be there, I think THAT type of violence is not gonna be in the setting anymore (and I think it's a good change, honestly)

000

Novecento - SANGUIS SANCTUS out NOW! @novecentogames.bsky.social · 01/08/2026

1 First off, I think the "Mature" label WotC put on the book is there for a reason: Dark Sun will include almost certainly a metric ton of misery and violence. So if grimdark is not your thing avoid Dark sun. I wouldn't expect horny bards casting spells while singing Hannah Montana, for sure.

000

Novecento - SANGUIS SANCTUS out NOW! @novecentogames.bsky.social · 01/08/2026

While I'm not a huge 5e player, I'm happy for the new Dark Sun announcements for D&D!🌞 They seem to have kept the "grimdark" tone of the setting, which I really appreciate. What are you expecting from this one? Here are my expectations ⬇️ (Artwork by the legendary Brom) #DND #DarkSun

Novecento - SANGUIS SANCTUS out NOW! @novecentogames.bsky.social · 01/08/2026

To be fair though, it's not like arseholes needed Dark Sun to be individuals devoid of any common sense. If one of those edgelords put those kind of scenes in games, I think they did it long before they even knew what Dark Sun was, so I don't think this influences the whole arsehole demographic

While my main focus in this post is for the videogame industry, it should be noted that SOME TABLETOP COMPANIES totally love copying the video game trends, so while tabletop is safe now from this collapse, I would still watch out for the rubble.

010

Novecento - SANGUIS SANCTUS out NOW! @novecentogames.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

The recent Sony "digital-only" fiasco shows one thing: the big names in gaming industry are so completely out of touch and willing to do anything to gain a quarter of a dollar, that they are instead diving head first into a disastrous downfall. You are witnessing it. The collapse starts now.
