On the plus side, I consider myself lucky that Excedrin DOES work for me. My migraines are thankfully not always super painful, but they do heavily impact my vision and produce a ton of auras--which I've learned are now getting worse, so we'll see how long it lasts RIP

Fun fact: you cannot take both Excedrin and Ibuprofen together. My migraines are only fixed with Excedrin. My fibro is only mitigated (sometimes) with Ibuprofen. A lot of the time, I forgo fibro mitigation if I feel a migraine is possible that day. Yay incurable chronic pain.

Just so you know, I'm going to refrain from Death Stranding 2 when I come back, at least for a week or two. It takes up so much of my memory and I want to get it for my PS5 and do it that way. It does mean we're going to have to start from the beginning again, but that's okay!

Neuromancer is good, but the way Gibson writes really fucks with my dyslexia. I find myself reading slower than normal because I have to do so many rereads of each page. It's getting a little easier as I get into it, but it probably would've helped knowing this was written more like poetry.

So remember kids, GenAI = bad, inherently evil because it was created with the purpose of exploitation, whether of labor, knowledge, or talent. ML AI = generally good depending on the project, made with the purpose of training specific purposes in order to aid human accomplishment.

Anything based on GenAI is almost guaranteed to be trained on data that hasn't consented to being trained on--or that data has been exploited with backdated policies like Twitch's GenAI that placates papa Amazon.

Generative AI is what everyone is against. It's a form of AI that's inherently evil because the people behind it are evil. It's not "intelligent", no matter how many dudebros that leave OpenAI tell you it is.

ML AI stands for Machine Learning AI, which has been a common practice for a long time! The earliest LLMs were actually ML AI and were being developed with large scale databases in mind. That's cool as hell! And then billionaires decided to poison the waterhole with that idea.

Reminder that people who defend GenAI by saying "you use AI every day, even if you don't want to!" are grifters. They're right in that you do use AI. It's in your games, in your OS, in your motherboard.. but these aren't genAI. Most of these are either simple rule-based algorithms or ML AI.
