My appointment at the docter yesterday went great. I was back outside with 15 minutes. Doc didn't need convincing at all. So today marks the day that I'm starting with antidepressants. Here's to hoping it will ease the heavy load for a bit. 🤞🏻

I can't even begin to explain the levels of exhaustion I feel after this weekend. So much excitement in all kinds of ways, but my goodness. The last 36 hours took a lot out of me. I'm going to try and get some very much needed sleep. Difficult after such a thrilling race. Snoring Seppy helps though.

In the Netherlands, the 2026 summer drought just isn't over yet. Precipitation deficit (evaporation minus rainfall) is going up again in a warm and dry September week, ending the season in the top 5% of driest years on record. At the end, the deficit will be ~3 times higher than in a median year.
