there’s just a unique pain that comes with watching this start up again in beirut and wondering if my family aren’t replying to my messages because of the timezone difference or because something terrible has happened. my chest is aching. i have this feeling of being so deeply in the wrong place rn

i’m still on this theo/blaise and dramione fic brainrot. two chapters in and it’s occurred to me i’ve never written hermione POV before.

Lana | notyournecromancer 🇱🇧 @notyournecromancer.bsky.social · 26/05/2025

due to unforeseen circumstances i have started writing a theo/blaise, draco/hermione, dark academia vibes story and honestly i don’t know how this happened

Brief respite ✨️

Deep inside a forest, a female knight in silver armour perches on the edge of a rocky ourcrop. At her feet, a golden mermaid raises up from a stream, placing her hand on the knight's and staring adoringly up at her.

one of my favourite things about fandom culture is that i’ll have a mutual who writes the filthiest, most vile and wonderful smut i’ve ever clapped eyes on and then i speak to them and they’re the most precious little angel baby imaginable

i just watched The Settlers documentary and i am literally hollow. everytime i forget that so many people see us as “not human” or “savages” there is a very violent, in-your-face reminder shoved at me

Lana | notyournecromancer 🇱🇧 @notyournecromancer.bsky.social · 30/04/2025

Your "dumb little projects" are so important during this harrowing time. Don't forget that. Your creativity has value, for yourself and for the world.

Lana | notyournecromancer 🇱🇧 @notyournecromancer.bsky.social · 22/04/2025

it’s actually crazy to me. i got a message on my tumblr inbox from someone i used to be in a discord server with basically telling me all the ways im a terrible “mean girl” for being hurt by racism in this fandom. this was only half of it😅 like im so sorry you and ur friends made ME feel unsafe

062

Lana | notyournecromancer 🇱🇧 @notyournecromancer.bsky.social · 22/04/2025

someone in my group chat said they felt unsafe around me, a lebanese person, as a zionist. i think about the way they used the term “palestinian propaganda” to describe when i spoke about my family in lebanon having to flee their home. this was in a fandom space. “but you always make it about race”
