1/5 Every year when the 4th comes around I find it hard to celebrate, especially in times like these. It feels like a form of enabling, even whitewashing, to celebrate when our country is conducting a form of ethnic cleansing within our own borders and supporting war crimes in others.

Pete Ricketts just voted in favor of forever wars. Today, Republicans and Democrats in the Senate came together to pass a War Powers Resolution, which formally calls for an end to the War in Iran unless Congress votes to authorize it.

It gets said alot but hopefully its understood now. This midterms might be the most important one in US history. If we don't retake the senate, Trump will likely get at least 2 more court picks. That means he will have a majority of the court as his nominees putting our democracy in real danger.
