I didn't really want to overthink this build as I just wanted to see how far HGs have come and I have to say, this build was so fun! Due to how wild the design of Barbatos is (at least, at the time it was introduced), it lessened the need for decals and I appreciate that for someone not fond of doing WSDs every so often. 🤣 Most of the stuff goes in the inner frame, but I painted mine's inner frame so it does not matter really.

Slow and steady progress, I just finished putting on some more waterslides on the shoulders and on the funnel. This is the best I could muster, but I'm really getting the hang of it here. I'll finish the entire kit tomorrow for sure. #gunpla #gundam #plamo

My first attempt at putting water decals, and I actually kinda hate it. 💀 Could just be a skill issue, but I used up the 4 major decals needed for the shield and for the left shoulder and all of them crumpled to all hell, so I was forced to used bandai issued stickers instead.

Waist unit is definitely the easiest part of building this kit

The legs were really interesting pieces to build. It's not overly complicated, but the way the parts connecto to each other was really interesting.
