Finished up these Ace Hardlight doodles of him performing a high kick, why? because why not! 🔥 #art #ratchetandclank

Digital fanart drawings of Ace Hardlight (from Ratchet Deadlocked) performing a high kick at two different perspectives. I drew this because I wanted to see how I'd tackle this pose in particular, because it's inspired by the kick Ace does from the DreadZone commercial cutscene and I thought it looked weird, so I wanted to try and redraw that myself.

Deadlocked Syndrome comic page 88

Useless Dad: "Oooohh! What were you two little ankle biters doing out there?"

Ace: "You.. IDIOT!"

"You should be keeping an eye on these kids! The DreadZone Station is a dangerous place' it's no playground, GOT THAT!?"

Deadlocked Syndrome comic page 89

Useless Dad: "Oh relax, illustrious Exterminator Dude! I'm glad you brought them back, sneaky little buggers-"

Ace: "-and if I can those kids unsupervised around DreadZone ever again, then I'll just have to come back... and deal with the source of the problem... personally!"

Ace snarls at the Useless Dad proceeds to wet himself.

More pages from my fan-comic, #DeadlockedSyndrome pages 79 & 80! Was fun drawing Ace playing hack-sack 😂 (2022) #art #RatchetandClank #webcomic

Deadlocked Syndrome page 79. Ace Hardlight plays hack-sack with the robots heads (out of boredom) until Vox gives him a call...

Gleeman Vox: "Ace! I need your assistance. There's a disturbance in the weapons testing facility. Investigate it immediately!"

Ace Hardlight: "Hmph. Okay, I'm on it."

Deadlocked Syndrome page 80. Both Eugene and Vernon arrive in a huge weapons testing facility, excited by what greets them.

Vernon: "Whoa! This place is so cool! Look, it's the Dual-Vipers!"

Vernon: "OH! And look at that! The B6-Obliterator with the Napalm mod!"

Eugene: "Okay that is pretty cool..."

Finally, some actual new art! And what is this? It's a parody of "The Running Man" of course! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ featuring Ace and Cienna! #art #RatchetandClank #myoc #crossover

Here's a parody I've always wanted to draw for years, back when the Deadlocked Syndrome comic was first being worked on. A parody of the movie "The Running Man", featuring Ace Hardlight (from Ratchet Deadlocked) and Cienna Aries (my character).

Why, you may ask? It's actually because that movie is partially what inspired Ratchet Deadlocked (Gladiator) and Ace Hardlight himself! (according to Greg Baldwin, the artist who designed Ace and several other characters in the game) so yeah, that's why I needed to draw this parody. Poor Cienna, having to play the role of that awful love interest from the movie though...

Any excuse to draw Ace in an alternative tight outfit makes it worthwhile though... 👀

A younger Cienna with her family! I finished this illustration last year, after a long time of wanting to draw what her parents and siblings look like. About time, I say! And yes, her Dad is scary lookin'. imagine if he meet Ace... 😂👀🍿 #RatchetandClank #myoc #art

A digital illustration of Cienna Aries' family. She's about 19 years old here, so a bit younger than she is in the comic currently. Her parents are Zion Aries & Heather Aries, her 11 year old brother is Undre, her two younger 6 year old brothers are Rydge and Argus, and her baby 1 month old sister is Holly.
They're all members of the Verpardi race (my fan-made species based off Ace himself)

The events of the comic take place about 3 years since this family 'photo' was taken. That's why Cienna's younger here. Will she ever see her family again? Will Ace Hardlight ever see more of his kind? Who knows....
