Jamie Barton @notrab.dev · 11/08/2026Dark mode is just a wrapper class. Empty states, failed publishes, menus, approval states etc. are just different props/data. And I don't need a matching set of Figma files for any of it. 100
Jamie Barton @notrab.dev · 11/08/2026The screenshots basically forced me to check what the product actually does rather than what I remembered it doing. Which is probably a good property for product screenshots to have. 100
Jamie Barton @notrab.dev · 11/08/2026The cover can't specify something the real component can work out itself. For the publish failures cover, I pass in five results. The actual component works out "Published to 3 of 5", the progress, and the amber state. 100

Jamie Barton @notrab.dev · 11/08/2026This was going to become a bigger problem too. We need screenshots for the changelog, docs, and eventually a landing page for every integration. But @orbitwrite is React. We already have all the UI we need. 100
