Today is #WorldAnimalDay. Caring for animals is a big part of why so many people choose vet med in the first place. But caring for animals also means caring for the people who care for them. In addition to animals, we celebrate the vet professionals who show up every day for those animals.

Vet medicine is built on compassion, but compassion needs care too. Making time for rest Spending time with people who recharge you Or stepping away from work for an afternoon isn't selfish. Those moments help you return with more focus and energy for the people and animals who depend on you.
