It's like toads and frogs. Tech CEOs are tech bros but not all tech bros are CEOs

I get the appeal of physical books, but I often read in English (not native tongue for me) and often books I want are not readily available at library etc. So I just end up reading more by reading ebooks. I read with night light and minimum brightness to save my eyes. Seems better than not reading.

I don't really appreciate you advertising ExpressVPN. Kape Technologies own many of these popular VPN services, and it is owned by Israeli billionaire, who was named in Panama papers, has donated money to IDF and also allegedly was Israeli spy. Great conversations, just something you should know.

I have always had the tendency to burn myself out with creative work by pushing myself too hard. This year I have been trying to learn to step away, to have a breaks like sensible person even when feeling inspired. It has helped to mitigate those lows a lot. And I have felt more creative than ever.

That song is such a fucking vibe, been playing it at lot too! Personal favorite on their new album.

So I can easily turn off all except first one in the chain later in the mixing session to realize they weren't actually doing anything meaningful.

That was really good read as someone stressing about my unemployment. Despite that, I'm very grateful to have learned to be very cheap during this year, and I'm not gonna stop doing that even if my situation would improve. Also so excited about tomorrows guest!

Bit over week ago I played in a very special private event! Every year people responsible for the decorations exceed themselves! All community powered, non commercial, just creative people doing their thing! #dnb #rave #underground #edm

Funny thing about gen AI is, that almost anything I would actually use one for, can be done locally on my machine, in a way that doesn't make any revenue to anyone. Big proprietary models are still better with some tasks like coding, but with some performance gains, that gap is closing fast.

My most listened podcasts are either about climate and environment (planet critical, great simplification) or tech critical stuff (better offline, tech wont save us). Instant listen when I saw those two together.

If some day I'm an old man sitting in my rocking chair and hear Sample Bandit just released a tune, I get excited, no matter how many decades have passed since the last one. Knowing your tunes, that's probably also when I pass away from heart attack.

Cannot stop thinking about how Octavia Butler wrote a book in 1993 about climate change. It opens with deadly fires in LA in 2025. In the story, a fascist President has just won office with the campaign slogan "Make America Great Again." She was a modern day Nostradamus. If only we'd listened.

First post. Haven't used any socials ever since I deleted them before covid. Social media is alien to me, but I also need to start promoting my music. Generative AI is like green goblin mask talking to me, trying to tempt me to generate content so I can just get back on making beats. (Never)
