and one last picture to finish off my #Fanfest Berlin photo dump. I didn't get a window seat on my flight back, but I was able to lean over to take this one picture. We left as the sun was setting and we were chasing this horizon the entire time.

While in Berlin for #fanfest I went up the Berlin TV Tower. The views were spectacular & I was able to see the Berlin Messe far in the distance where Fanfest had been held, but the horizon stretched so much further. I didn't realise until we stopped moving that the elevator had a glass roof o:

Talking of The Primals, I was stood pretty far to one side so I had a great view across the crowd. It was really cool seeing all the lights change based on what song was playing. What the sound quality in the arena lacked, the atmosphere and energy in the room more than made up for.

People's reactions to my staff brought me joy. I was surprised how many wanted photos of it. Moreso by how excited people got if I suggested I could take a photo of *them* holding it. Sadly, it made fast acquaintance with the ground before the Primals concert & didn't make it back to the hotel.

I also got to see more of @polygotcrafts.com's work in person which was really cool. You should definitely go check him out! He was there as Scammingway, providing gamba to the masses.

It goes without saying the cosplayers were all incredible. Perfect Alexander was spectacular, I got to see a very pink frog & @rubyarch.bsky.social got a Vamp Fatale to step on me at the very end of #Fanfest.

I felt so lucky to meet so many amazing people at #ffxiv #Fanfest Berlin. A few highlights were @itsredzy.bsky.social, @preachgaming.bsky.social & @melzelia.bsky.social. Meeting @pintlive.bsky.social was also incredibly cool, she's really very lovely, but I didn't think to get a picture with her.

This was my favourite cosplayer at #Fanfest Berlin - Gerolt. He would give you a task to collect memories & then he would upgrade your relics (cosplay weapons). In my case, I paid with a Tomestone of Poetics - he added a bell on a string then tapped it with his hammer. 14/10 fantastic #cosplay idea.

The #FanfestWOLExchange was an ✨experience✨ Y'all are amazing. I ended up with so many stickers, amongst other things! So many cute WoLs, so much great art. Seeing people's faces light up as I hand them a tiny tomestone really made my day. #ffxivfanfest #ffxiv #fanfest

A selection of Final Fantasy 14 merch on a shelf, Polyethylens Summoner Jobstone clicker, Polys tomestone of hopmetics, a poetic printed by a Cid cosplayer, a shiny sticker of a poetic, the official poetic USB stick, Polys fidget poetic, Polys NFC poetic, Kyxenneds metal poetic. Then in front my own Eureka Orthos tomestone and concept tomestone. In the background you can see a bit of my 3D printed TARDIS transformers too.
